Patrick Heron has been a member of One Detroit Credit Union for 30 years and a board member for 20. 

Throughout his distinguished career as a state-licensed social worker, he gained a wealth of experience in both clinical and administrative settings. Most notably, Pat served as the president of Community Social Services of Wayne County from 1991 until his retirement in 2017. 

Born and raised in New Jersey, Pat earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Rhode Island and completed his Masters at the Merrill Palmer Institute in Detroit in 1976.

In his retirement, Pat is frequently called upon for his practical expertise and leadership. He remains actively involved in the community, currently serving on the finance council at St. Josaphat Church in Detroit and volunteering with veterans organizations.
