Fresh Start Checking offers a second chance for members who have been unable to open an account with other financial institutions due to a Qualifile Score or ChexSystems record. Like all our checking accounts, Fresh Start Checking comes with an ATM/debit card and free access to our online banking and mobile app so you can manage your account 24 hours a day from anywhere. There is a monthly fee of $15 for Fresh Start Checking. You can reduce your monthly fee to just $10 when you sign up for Direct Deposit or maintain a $250 minimum balance. Plus, Fresh Start Checking accounts can be converted to Everyday Checking accounts if your account has no overdrafts or returned items for six consecutive months.
