We are receiving reports of members getting phone calls and texts that appear to come from One Detroit Credit Union asking for personal account information. These are spoofing scams.

Please Remember: One Detroit Credit Union will never call or text you to ask for your account number, PIN, or password.

If you receive a suspicious call:

  1. Hang up immediately. Do not engage with the caller.
  2. Call us directly at (313) 965-8640 to verify if we were trying to reach you.

Young Detroit CheckingIs your teen outgrowing their piggy bank?

Whether they’re starting their first job or heading off to college, a Young Detroit Checking Account can help give teens a sense of freedom and independence while gaining real-world experience managing their finances.

A parent or legal guardian is required as a joint owner on the account. As a joint owner, you’ll have the ability to access the account any time, monitor transactions, and advise your teen.

Don’t store your money under the mattress!

If your teen receives an allowance or earns money for chores and odd jobs, a checking account offers a safe place to keep track of their earnings. They’ll receive a debit card which they can use for purchases anywhere VISA debit cards are accepted and to access cash when needed. They can even have their paycheck direct deposited into their checking account!

One Detroit Credit Union is the only financial institution in Detroit that accepts municipal IDs to open a checking account.
