Job Openings: Retail Sales & Service Specialist - Full Time

Duties:

We are a mission driven credit union committed to empowering our members and strengthening our community. The Retail Sales & Service Specialist is the first point of contact for our current and potential members. They are responsbile to deliver exceptional member service and subject matter experts regarding our products and services.  

• Deliver exceptional member service and promote credit union products and services that support organizational growth.
• Manage inbound and outbound communications including phone calls, voicemail, live chat (Eltrophy), email, video chat, and other digital service platforms.
• Provide professional, timely and accurate service while adhering to established call handling standards, service levels, and response time expectations.
• Process and decision digital account openings, contact new members, and conduct follow up outreach to ensure members receive the full value of their membership.
• Assist members with account maintenance requests, including account research, stop payments, address changes, card replacements, and general account servicing.
• Maintain accurate documentation of member interactions, requests, resolutions and follow-up activities in accordance with Credit Union procedures.
• Support community outreach activities, financial education initiatives and other community events as needed.

Requirements:

•  High school diploma or GED required. Some college level coursework preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to identify opportunities to enhance member financial needs, goals and objectives.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
•  Basic computer skills and familiarity with financial systems.
•  Professional business-like appearance.
